Vermont Vacation

Here are a few shots from our mini vacation to Vermont this past weekend. My family's vacation home in Vermont is a very meaningful place for me, so bringing Caroline for the first time was special in a lot of ways.

A long exposure of the house as night. Love the warm light from the house in contrast with the cool, blue, August night sky. Typically you see a lot more stars, but light from the almost full moon washed them out.

Was wishing I had Robert Norman's tilt shift lens for this shot!

I like that 4th one a lot-- colors make it work. Yeah, seems that Caroline probably prefers the tub to the flowing river, huh?

Oh, so jealous! this place looks like paradise! Love the night sky. The 4th one is my favorite location shot but the hammock shots are the BEST! First her yawning--please blow that up huge somewhere in your house. And the last one is so touching. Beautiful!

Wow, wow and ummm WOW! These Vermont shots make me miss my home in New Hampshire like crazy!

As for the children, isn't it funny how sometimes when you look at your own life it is harder to see the change and progress but you take one glance at a close friend's life and it puts everything into perspective?

Never stop shooting,
